My first wife, Margaret, died in 2002, after 28 years of marriage. I knew she was not a healthy person when I married her. No children. She was a Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County. She achieved the position of the assistant to the Chief Deputy (number two person in the District Attorney’s office).

My second wife is Maureen. We have known each other for 40 years and were members of a dinner group. We had lost contact. During that time, her husband died. We became reacquainted at a reunion of the dinner group, and the rest, as they say is history. Her husband had health issues. No children. Maureen is a retired elementary school special needs teacher.

Maureen is active in church work with Bible Study and the Cerebral Palsy and prayer shawl ministries. I am a tour guide for the Los Angeles Zoo and the Joel McCrea (the actor) ranch. In addition, I am a Trustee and tour guide for a local museum. We enjoy traveling.
