I teach math at Evergreen Valley College in San Jose. This
is my 35th year teaching. The first 22 I taught math and physics in the
Campbell Union High School District in San Jose. Since then, I have
been in the community college system. I have been married these same 35
years to Lois whom I met when we were students at Cal. We have two
children: Rachel, age 27 is a fitness trainer; and David, who is a
research chemist. I've attached a photo of our family taken at David's
graduation from UCLA. I have been active in my teaching career:
bargaining spokesperson for and president of the Campbell Education
Association and Academic Senate member at Evergreen. I have served on
the Boards of Temple Emanu-El and the Jewish Federation.
